Our Mission is dedicated to the service of the underprivileged and unfortunate children in our society.

A group of young People came together in 2013 to set up Nanhi Muskan Welfare Society to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities.

 

Our Vision
•Achieving child friendly society and system which ensures rights of survival, protection, development and participation of the child.

•Work as a catalyst in bringing change in the lives of thousands of underprivileged and marginalised children,   youth and women, by addressing their basic needs.

• Enable the civil society across the world to engage proactively in the change process through the philosophy   of civic driven change.

• Adopt highest standards of governance to emerge as a leading knowledge and technology driven, innovative   and scalable international development organisation.

 

Our Objectives

  • To Develope Orphanges and provide fooding and loadging.
  • To create Awareness, Organizing Training & Development activities.
  • Upgrading skills of Traditional Artisans, Women and other Marginalized Communities.
  • Formation and Empowerment of Common Interest Groups and support through Micro Finance.
  • Support child centered integrated development ( Child rights and Child protection)
  • Promotion of Alternative source of energy for the rural community development
  • Promotion of Natural Resource Management for the best practice of protective environment and nature.
  • Promote Medical and other allied services in Disaster
  • Disseminate innovation of science and technology. Promote large - scale sustainable livelihood. Promote small - scale Industries.
  • Provide sustainable education, health and disabled people's rights
  • Provide preservation and promotion of artistic, handicraft and cultural resources. Support child and women empowerment.
  • Promoting and organizing meaningful educational programs for target group;Running vocational training programs and organizing Self – Help Groups as part of economic empowerment of these disadvantaged groups and the communities to which they belong;
  • To propagate the need for tree plantation / pollution control and environmental awareness.
  • To work for uplifting the status of women in the society. To work against female circumcision and to fight against the victimization of girl /women by anybody in the society on female circumcision or any other related issues.

Our Goals

  • Improve the capabilities of local people for sustainable livelihoods and the well being of human and non-human residents.
  • Generate environmentally sound and socio culturally adapted knowledge for managing and conserving natural and cultural resources.
  • Enhance the capacity of committed researchers and development workers for interdisciplinary research, facilitation. Documentation and dissemination in partnership with indigenous people.
  • Offer means and methods for between knowledge systems, political systems and cultures to contribute to a society of intercultural, inter sectorial and interdisciplinary dialogue and cooperation


 PEOPLE BEHIND NMWS

 

Nahni Muskan Welfare Society is managed by a Board of Advisors comprising individuals from diverse backgrounds and expertise. The board is formed for a period of one year and a few independent members with eminence and reputation are nominated each year. Members of this board meet once every quarter.
